Story
In the UK, 79 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour every day*. For them and their loved ones, the road ahead can feel scary and uncertain. Your generosity helps ensure that brainstrust can be here to provide the tools, guidance, and support they need for a brighter tomorrow.
Help us get more of our vital resources to the people that need them.
The resources brainstrust offer are designed to help people living with a brain tumour diagnosis, and their families, feel more informed, in control and engaged with their care, no matter where they are on their brain tumour journey.
Our Resources
£20 could pay for someone to attend one of our tailored online workshops delivered by the brainstrust team and expert speakers from across the UK. Our bespoke webinars cover a wide range of essential topics to help our community thrive.
It was brilliant to meet you and others at the fatigue workshop. It was the first time both Denise and I felt comfortable talking about the tumour like this with people we knew understood us. – Patient
The brainstrust brain box is tailored to each individual, the brain box makes sure people have the information and tools they need to feel in control and ready to face the road ahead. It costs £50 to send a brain box.
My brain box arrived today. I wish I know about it two years ago. This should be something all brain tumour sufferers and family members should be advised of. – Patient
£100 could fund the cost of two coaching sessions for a patient or their loved ones. Coaching helps people living with a brain tumour to take control and focus on the things that matter the most to them. Patients and carers will come away from their coaching sessions with strategies and tools that help them achieve clarity, and improve their quality of life.
Your help has been monumental to me in working through my thoughts and understanding of this disease. You have helped me gain perspective and what has happened. Thank you so much for your time and kindness. – Caregiver
