BT employee fundraising in support of UNICEF's Children's Emergency Fund

Organised by UNICEF UK

BT employee fundraising activities in support of UNICEF's Children's Emergency Fund, to help children and their families in crises.

Story

Humanitarian needs are at an unprecedented level. By supporting the Children’s Emergency Fund, it will enable UNICEF teams to respond rapidly and effectively, supporting vulnerable children affected by emergencies.

So far, donations to the Children's Emergency Fund has helped UNICEF to preposition supplies for children and their families as conflict started to escalate in Gaza.

Funding provided also will help UNICEF teams respond to humanitarian needs of children recently affected by the earthquakes in Afghanistan.

This includes children like 10-year-old Zari, seen below holding her brother, Marv, 8 months old, after they lost their home to the earthquake in Zinda Jan district, Afghanistan. A view of one village in Zinda Jan district, Afghanistan after the earthquake. Over 95% of homes in this district were destroyed, and in the six most affected districts, over 3,000 homes were lost.

If you are running an employee fundraiser or to donate, please share the donations here so they can go directly to UNICEF's work.
