Story
Bristol Hub supports students at the University of Bristol to tackle social challenges, learn about issues and connect with each other. Our mission is to mainstream student social action, supporting a new generation of active citizens to achieve positive change now and in the future.
Bristol Hub enables and empowers students to create positive impact in their local communities through practical volunteering, skilled placements, project incubation and local events. We work closely with students and community groups to provide high quality programmes that build skills, add capacity and give an opportunity to make connections for life.
Your donations support us to continue making a difference to community groups in Bristol, engage more students in volunteering, and invest in the staff support, logistics and operations which makes these programmes possible.
Read more about our impact in our Bristol Hub's 2021-22 Impact Report.
Other ways to support Bristol Hub!
Become a regular donor Rather than supporting us every time we run a campaign, you can choose to make a regular donation. This can increase our stability and better support us to support the local community and students.
Become a partner of Student Hubs. We are actively seeking to grow our support from organisations over the coming months, including businesses, trusts and foundation as well as CICs. We would love to hear from you if you think you might be able to support our amazing work, from community outreach on our projects to supporting our students.
We rely on voluntary funding for a huge proportion of our work and your contribution, whatever size, could make a hue difference to the lives of people in Bristol. For more information, please contact Sorcha at manager@bristolhub.org.
SIP supports our Responsible Business approach in terms of making a difference in the community, supporting an inclusive and engaging workplace for our people (particularly the mentors)... It's a win-win-win! Bristol Hub helps us deliver on our place-based approach for responsible business and enables us to leverage impact. This is so much more than just providing funding we can increase our community reach and therefore the positive impact. It builds on existing community relationships and enables new ones." - Kirsty Green-Mann, Head of Corporate Responsibility, Burges Salmon
