Story

We are more than just a cafe. We're a unique skills academy where young people with additional support needs from across Dumfries & Galloway can learn, train, gain qualifications and employability skills. We offer the chance to gain confidence and independence through meaningful work experience and mentorship.

For young people like Lewis, Katie, Xander, Jack, and over 2,000 others over the past 10 years, this has been life-changing. With our mentorship and enablement, they are rewriting the course of their own lives, gaining the confidence to take their next steps and changing the trajectory of their lives. Without us, many face isolation, limited opportunities and struggle to reach their full potential.

The demand for our work is growing, and while we remain hopeful for future funding, we need your help now to keep serving great coffee, cakes, macaroni cheeses and brighter futures. Whether you're skydiving, walking or making a donation, every bit of support makes a real difference.

Together we can keep the cups full and the futures bright!
