Story
Thrill-seeking participants have volunteered to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower, whilst raising some pennies to support initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of our NHS colleagues.
It is Brighterway's mission to support our colleagues, by supporting their health and wellbeing, they are playing their part in enabling the delivery of high quality care of our patients.
A message from Brian:-
I have worked for Southern health for almost 39 years, I did the Southampton 10K run 2 years ago for Brighterway with some of my colleagues.
A few months ago my daughter Megan who also works for Southern health said she was doing the Abseil for Brighterway so I thought I would join her and I also got some of my work colleagues to sign up too
I enjoy Paddleboarding in the warmer weather with family and colleagues, we have quite a few in the group now which is great, I like to paddle board on rivers, on the sea and Basingstoke canal
2 years ago I did a 10,000 ft sky dive with my daughters for another charity
I would like to do the abseil to raise money for Brighterways and its something I have not done before and to give support to my colleagues who are doing it too
I am looking forward to the views and raising money for my local NHS charity
Please support our Team to support Brighterway.
