Story
5 out of 6 women in the UK never report sexual violence. 90% of students don’t either.
This winter, while the world sings Silent Night, silence is anything but peaceful for survivors. In a season that promises light, connection, and togetherness, many women will be experiencing the isolation, darkness and fear that silence creates.
No one should spend this winter in silence. At Rape Crisis South London (RCSL), we break the silence every day through providing specialist talking therapy. Our counsellors help women and girls find their voice, heal from trauma and step back into the world with strength.

This festive season, give survivors the gift of being heard. Your donation will help us to deliver our vital support services, helping survivors to find hope, voice and community. Together, as we step into the new year, we can create a different future where survivors are heard – this year, next year, and always.
Your donation could make a real difference:
£10 could provide essential sensory supplies for play therapy craft activities
£25 could cover facilitating focus group participation with survivors, ensuring we are survivor-informed as an organisation
£36 could fund one hour of advocacy support, helping survivors navigate the criminal justice system
£75 could offer in-person tailored, talking therapy to a survivor
£95 could cover group therapy, providing community and support to survivors of sexual violence
£295 could enable a state school, non-profit, or community organisation to access sexual violence prevention training at no or subsidised costs.
By supporting RCSL, you will join a community that listens, believes, and stands together for change. It is through connection like this that survivors find true safety.
