BRC offers 30 programs throughout NYC including unsheltered outreach, safe haven and shelters, mental, physical health and addiction services, workforce development, art therapy, and supportive housing to close to 10,000 individuals a year. You can join the BRC Leadership Council to raise critical funds to support BRCs mission and vital programs and services. To date, the BRC Leadership Council Champions Benefit has raised more than $500,000 to support the organization, helping BRC offer a hand UP to thousands of people each year.
The BRC Leadership Council is a diverse group of young professionals who support BRC; one of New York City's leading nonprofit organizations offering caring and effective housing and services to vulnerable New Yorkers. Our annual fundraiser, The Champions Benefit, brings like-minded philanthropists together to raise funds and awareness for homeless services.

About BRC:
BRC is one of New York City's largest, most experienced and most successful providers of housing and services for individuals experiencing homelessness. Founded in 1971 by a group living in poverty in the Bowery's infamous flophouses, BRC has grown significantly since our grassroots beginning and now serves nearly 10,000 individuals each year at over 30 programs all over New York City. Our robust continuum of housing and services includes over 2,000 units of transitional and permanent housing, job development, and substance abuse, mental health and medical services. Together, these programs offer a caring and effective path from homelessness to home, providing comprehensive services that assist and empower each individual we serve on their journey to improve their lives and attain stability in health and housing.
