Story
By signing up to become a Brave the Shave Boss youre stepping up to organise your own Brave the Shave group event. Invite your friends and family along to watch your group Brave the Shave. There is no right or wrong way to Boss a Brave the Shave group event; however, you plan it, just remember youre making a huge difference to people living with cancer.
The money you raise will help provide physical, emotional, and financial support to people whose lives have been affected by cancer.
Please see below way in which your donations can help make a huge difference.
£197 could pay for a Macmillan Grant that helps a person living with cancer heat their home when they really need to.
£573 could pay for a Macmillan Support Worker for 1 week, helping patients, family members, and carers manage the social and practical problems of living with cancer.
£1,148 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for 1 week, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical, and emotional support.
£1,160 could help someone receive the emotional and practical support from a Macmillan Volunteer for 12 weeks - long enough to help them find their best way through at a critical time in their cancer journey.
