Story
Brambletye is delighted that this year's (2021-2022) chosen school charity is The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The charity was nominated by Head of Lower School, Mr Brundish, along with the help of one of our pupils who received support from The Royal Marsden during her fight against lymphoblastic leukaemia. Together they felt it is time to give something back and are determined to work alongside the whole Brambletye community over the course of this academic year to raise as much as we possibly can for this wonderful charity. There are already a number of activities to look forward to including the Barking Mad Dog Show, Burns Night Dinner, Summer Concert and Art Auction. We also look forward to adding some new fundraising initiatives throughout the year.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. They ensure their nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, they will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
