Looking for an evening of giant, poverty-beating, community-building fun? Youve found it!

On Saturday 20 November 2021, churches and groups from every corner of the UK will take part online and in person in Tearfunds Big Quiz Night and you can be part of it.

Every pound raised will bring help and hope to people in desperate need, like Abigael.

Abigael is a mother of five from Burkina Faso whose family have been farmers for generations. She used to be able to rely on the rains every year to help her crops grow. But in recent years, Burkina Faso has suffered from recurring droughts. Abigael can no longer grow enough to feed and take care of her family. Their lives are full of hardship and fear. Tearfunds local partner is helping to turn her situation around, but more must be done.

Around 80 per cent of people in Burkina Faso rely on farming for food and income. Yet because of the changing climate, one in ten are now going hungry. This is not God's plan for creation. Together, we can bring hope.

£18 could help someone like Abigael feed their family in a changing climate by providing tools, seeds and natural fertiliser.

£390 could provide two farming cooperatives like Abigael's with the training they need to set up start their own market garden
