Story

Help us prevent suicide, the biggest killer of men under 45

Our organisation is unique in that it is youth led, supported by an experienced adult team. Young people are actively involved in all aspects of our work. One of our principles is to have young men leading the strategy as they are hugely underrepresented in the field of mental health and wellbeing.

Our film projects explore issues related to boys and young men not opening up, male stereotypes, and the importance of establishing safe and supportive environments where boys and young men feel comfortable about seeking help when they are struggling. See: https://boysinmind.co.uk/film-page/

We work with school groups to help them understand the issues around male suicide and mental health and the positive things which can be done to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Any funding you can raise or donate will help us to:

- Involve more young people in the work,

- Expand our film project,

- Work with more schools and other organisations to challenge unhelpful stereotypes.
