Story
Parndon Mill depends on water for its artists, for its visitors, and for events like exhibitions and Open Studios. Without water, Harlows creative hub would literally dry up.
Unfortunately Parndon Mill is not connected to mains water and relies on an increasingly unreliable well - and with a falling water table we are in serious danger of having to cancel events like Open Studios and classes, and perhaps even close the Mill itself.
The solution is a bore hole, which with the drilling, pumps and filtering equipment, together with a licence to draw water from it, will cost £20,000. As a registered charity we receive no government funding, and so we rely on public donations to keep our creative juices flowing.
Any amount you can give will help us towards our goal to maintain Parndon Mill as Harlows creative oasis.
