We are fighting for families because every child needs and deserves to grow up in a family that loves and cares for them. Never alone in an orphanage that exposes them to neglect and abuse.

Hope and Homes for Children fight for families around the world - including on the ground in Ukraine, in neighbouring countries Romania, Moldova and Bulgaria, in Africa and in Asia - to give every child the chance to grow up with someone to love, and someone to love them.

Right now up to 100,000 children, over 90% of whom have family, are confined in Ukraines orphanages because of poverty and disability. And they are facing the danger and fear of war without family to comfort them. Even worse, as many orphanage staff have fled the country in search of safety, large numbers of children have been left totally alone. This is why orphanages don't protect children - they harm them.

On June 10th we are fighting for family so that Hope and Homes for Children can keep families together, reunite those that have been separated and create new ones, so all children have the love and protection of a family.
