THIS CHRISTMAS WILL BE DIFFERENT FOR ALL OF US BUT FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN LIVING WITH DOMESTIC ABUSE THE MISERY WILL INTENSIFY.

THEY WILL HAVE LITTLE OPPORTUNITY FOR RESPITE FROM FRIENDS AND EXTENDED FAMILY. MANDATORY LOCKDOWNS AND RESTRICTIONS TO CURB THE SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS HAVE TRAPPED WOMEN IN THEIR HOMES WITH THEIR ABUSERS, ISOLATED FROM THE PEOPLE AND THE RESOURCES THAT COULD HELP THEM.

THIS YEAR, WE MUST ENSURE THE SAFETY OF OUR SUPPORTERS, OUR STAFF AND THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN WE SUPPORT. OUR STAFF ARE WORKING ROUND THE CLOCK TO MAKE SURE OUR SERVICES REMAIN OPEN AND AVAILABLE FOR EVERY WOMAN WHO NEEDS THEM.

We are asking you to donate through this Campaign page or to buy vouchers and send them to us. It is important for us to minimise footfall to our Resource Centre in Adelaide Park to keep us all safe in these challenging times.

Our Finance Manager Diane Forsythe has now run 5K per day for us for the month of November. Well done Diane...what an achievement! Our sincere thanks to everyone who has supported her the past month.
