Story
Blessed Hope School was the first primary school within its area in Northern Uganda, it runs for all children in the surrounding small villages. It provides education to those who would not have been able to access it. We support BHS through sponsorship programmes and funding for infrastructure. Our heart is that hundreds of young people will find freedom from poverty through education, not only those who can afford school fees but also those who cannot. Exam Halls in Uganda hold a specific role, the government accepts schools with Exam halls more officially than those who do not. The children need to sit exams at the end of Primary in exam conditions, for the past 7 years in the final year, the children have needed to walk to the nearest hall to take these exams. This will no longer need to be the case with this hall! Through supporting this campaign, you can see young people find the joy of education and the freedom that comes with it.
