Through Blast Off! we are raising money to invest in our online inclusive music and dance programmes, in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic. Since the beginning of May, we have been delivering regular weekly online sessions to keep people connected, making music, dancing and smiling! For a glimpse of what we've been up to so far in lockdown, have a listen to "Time Goes Slowly The Now" , which was created by some young musicians on Paragon's Tune Online programme and even featured on BBC Radio Scotland's Make a Difference show!
People have already been telling us just how much Paragon's online sessions mean to them:
Just wanted to say A MASSIVE Thank You to ALL of you for such an amazing first session... Steven Loved it! All so much fun and relaxed. The most engaged he's been!! You all rock! He already can't wait till next week!!
"Sarah had a great session yesterday and was telling everyone she could about her zoom music class! Thank you to everyone at Paragon for organising it. The class has been a much needed distraction for Sarah.
Many of the people who attend our programmes fall into the sheilding category and won't be able to attend our physical workshops for some time to come. This funding will help us continue to deliver & develop our online programmes to reach people who are isolated, due to shielding or other health reasons, as well as people from rural communities.
