The Biology Department is raising money to support student research projects with our Biology Faculty. This directly facilitates the financial ease with which students can participate in our summer research program. Not only will raised funds help support our students but the funds also help support the innovative and progressive research programs our Biology Faculty are able to pursue and involve students in.

Biology Faculty are engaged in research with direct relevance to the scientific challenges of the 21st century and they mentor our students to become responsible leaders in various fields of biology. In the past, our fundraising has successfully raised almost $95,000 dollars and directly facilitated close to 20 student stipends and supply lines for their summer research programs.

In 2023 we are hoping to raise enough money to continue this successful program and allow Augsburg students financial assistance to participate in Biology summer research programs.
