20th Anniversary Ride
The Biking for Children in Care community have cycled for care-experienced young people every year since 2002. This is their 20th anniversary ride, raising vital funds the charity Become.
The immediate and long term impacts of coronavirus means that this year, Become's helpline, support services, and youth-led campaigning are needed more than ever. Many young people are facing multiple crises, with their finances, their education, their housing, and their mental health.
The Biking for Children in Care team are cycling to help fund Become's work and make sure every young person in care gets the support and care they deserve.
Become would not be the charity it is today without everyone involved in Biking for Children in Care over the past 20 years. Including leaders Gill & Aileen, the committee, support crew, everyone who has cycled - whether one ride or twenty - and every friend and family member who has donated. Our thanks and love for all these inspiring people cannot be overstated." (Will, Fundraising Manager at Become)
Over June 24-28, this team of heroes are saddling up for their 20th anniversary ride in North Wales. Starting from Crewe, they are cycling 200 miles over 4 days via Chester, Llandudno, Porthmadog and ending up in Aberystwyth.
Every donation goes towards Become's mission to help care-experienced young people to believe in themselves and to heal, grow and unleash their potential. Thank you.
