Visit the charity's profileIn 2016, an Ontario family impacted by PKD for generations got together with their friends to bike the Bruce Trail in an effort to raise money for PKD research. They travelled 480 km and raised over $11,000.
The PKD Foundation of Canada has adopted Bike to the Moon to enable those all over Canada affected by PKD to participate in the ride and achieve even greater fundraising goals. With every new year, the ride will help the PKD Foundation of Canada move closer to its goal of finding more treatments and a cure for those living with PKD.
Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is one of the most common life-threatening genetic diseases affecting thousands in Canada. You can have an impact on all those affected by this disease by organizing a ride and by creating your virtual fundraising page where you can join others in the fight to end PKD!
