Story

The Quilter Foundation bike ride returns

This June, colleagues and advisers from across the business will be taking part in The Quilter Foundation's annual bike ride to raise vital funds for the Local Community Fund. This is one of the Foundation's staple events of the year and riders of all abilities are welcome to join in.

In celebration of The Quilter Foundation's 5 year anniversary, the bike ride will span across 5 days from Thursday 22nd June to Monday 26th June, giving our riders the opportunity to cover more distance than ever before.

Get behind the Quilter Cycle Team 2023 by donating and leaving a message of encouragement!

Where the funds raised will go

All funds raised for the bike ride will be matched £ for £ by Quilter and will go towards our Local Community Fund. The Local Community Fund offers small grants of up to £10k to local charities nominated by our colleagues and advisers.

So far, we have donated over £120,000 to 17 fantastic local organisations, reaching more than 19,000 children, young people and families. With the impact the current cost of living crisis is having, local charities need our support now more than ever.

- a £25 donation could provide 100 nutritious meals to families in need (Fareshare)

- £50 could pay for one hour of bereavement counselling for someone who has lost a family member to meningitis (Meningitis Now)

By donating, you can make a real difference in the lives of many in our local communities.

Thank you

The Quilter Foundation was set up in 2017 to support the many thousands of young people in our communities who live with daily social and domestic challenges, helping them to overcome barriers to prosperity. We do this by funding projects that improve educational outcomes, employment prospects and health and wellbeing.
