Story
Over the Easter Weekend, Palace fans will be hitting the saddle for another fundraising bike event, this time cycling from Bournemouth to Selhurst Park to watch Palace take on the Cherries at home.
In 2020, 28 riders were on their way to the Vitality Stadium, only to be told that the game was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. But they kept riding, and four years later, we're doing it again—this time, in reverse.
But why do we do it?
Growing up in south London has never been tougher, but we are in a unique position to drive positive change through the power of sport.
Your donation will support our life-changing work in three key areas: keeping young people away from violence and crime, helping them find career opportunities, and supporting their mental and physical well-being.
Each year, we work with over 16,000 young people in Croydon, Bromley, Lambeth and Sutton. In the 2023/24:
- Over 2,000 young people participated in over 50 free sport sessions and more than 750 took part in our Disability Sport programs.
- We engaged with 8,000 pupils across over 80 schools in south London
- Over 250 young people attended our Careers in Sport fair.
- 313 young people benefited from 1:1 mentoring.
Your support will help us reach even more young people, providing them with the opportunities and support they need to overcome adversity and create a brighter future. Join us in this journey—together, we can make a difference.
