Story
Homelessness affects the lives of hundreds of people in our community and thousands and thousands more are facing homelessness.
Winter 2021-22 is going to be extra tough.
We need your help to make sure there will be help and hope this winter for anyone who needs it.
Locally, efforts to keep everyone in have just ended and more people will need a safe place to stay this winter.
The huge challenge we face is keeping everyone who doesnt have a home off the street, in suitable accommodation, with everything they need to stay healthy and well, while helping them find a more suitable, more permanent home. All this while there continues to be a severe shortage of suitable and affordable homes meaning moving on from emergency accommodation can be incredibly difficult.
The good news is because of your support, we can be here to help.
We work across the whole of south Buckinghamshire, helping anyone who has lost their home get off the street as quickly as possible.
This year weve started a community outreach project in Chesham and our homelessness prevention hotline means people can get the help they need quickly.
By sleeping out and raising awareness you are making sure people know we are here for them if they are facing a housing crisis, as well as ensuring we have the vital funds we need to continue this work.
And by sleeping-out, or sponsoring those who are are changing the lives of the most vulnerable people in our community, fighting the harm that homelessness can do and stopping it from happening in the first place.
