Story

2017's winner Luke Parrish turned his life around by losing nearly 30lbs and 47.5% of his body fat! With three young children to keep up with, he says taking part in the Biggest Loser has boosted his energy levels and transformed his lifestyle.

He says "I would go to the park with the kids and after five minutes I was sweating and had to sit down. I knew I had to make a change and get healthy to make sure I was around for the kids. They call me muscle man. Now I can spend hours on the trampoline with them and then its them who want to stop and go inside. "

" I think it is much easier losing weight in a group. Its hard to lose weight on your own but when youve got other people encouraging you to keep going and when you know youre helping other people through fundraising it makes it easier to stick with it. "

As a collective, the class of 2017 lost an incredible 434lbs, and raised over £23,500 for Hospice Care!

This fantastic fundraising could pay for ALL the costs associated with FOUR beds in our IPU for the average stay of 11 days. That's 4 patients and their families able to live their precious lives well, supported by the right people when they need it, because of the sponsorship raised by the class of 2017.

It's just amazing how far your sponsorship can go!
