It doesn't matter about your age or ability, or where you live and how much time you can commit - the #Big60Challenge is for everyone!
Why should you get involved?
For more than 60 years we have been there, funded world-class research and supported families living with over 60 rare muscle-wasting conditions. COVID-19 has hit us hard and it's important that we're here for the years to come. With your help and by taking on and fundraising for the #Big60Challenge, we can be.
How to take part
It couldn't be easier to join us and take on your very own #Big60Challenge:
Step 1:
Get your creative cap on and set yourself a challenge based around the numbers 6 or 60 (whether that's the number of times you do something, the distance you cover, OR the number of seconds, minutes or days you set yourself to complete your challenge in!). If you're stuck for ideas, don't fret, we've got plenty and the options are endless!
Step 2:
Set up your JustGiving page to help you fundraise.
Step 3:
Shout about it! Share your story and JustGiving page on social media along with details of your challenge. Don't forget to use the hashtag '#Big60Challenge' with your updates!
Step 4:
Last but not least, Do it your way for MDUK and show the world just how much muscles matter by taking on and completing your #Big60Challenge. A true #TeamOrange hero!
Fundraising
We're aiming to raise £60,000 which could fund one year of research to help us understand the underlying causes of muscle-wasting conditions and develop potential treatments.
We need your help to achieve this. Whether its £6, £60 or £600 you raise, your efforts will make a big difference to us and the lives of the 70,000 children and adults living in the UK with a muscle-wasting condition.
