For generations, Biblins Youth Campsite has been a beloved base for schools, Woodcraft Folk, Scouts, and countless other youth groups, offering life-changing outdoor experiences in the heart of nature. However, since 2013, the iconic Log Cabin—once a warm and welcoming shelter—has stood empty, unable to meet fire safety standards.
Now, we have a vision: to breathe new life into this historic building, creating an inclusive, sustainable, and fully accessible bunkhouse that will sleep up to 39 young people and their leaders. This space will provide a safe and comfortable hub for adventure, learning, and community-building for future generations.
The First Step: A Full Survey Before we can begin the transformation, we need to conduct a thorough survey of the existing structure and surrounding land. This crucial step will guide our restoration efforts and ensure the new bunkhouse is built to the highest safety and sustainability standards.
We need your help to raise £20,000 to fund this essential survey and take the first step towards restoring the Biblins Bunkhouse.
