On 23 September 2020 a brave team of hen lovers will take to the skies, reaching speeds of 130mph whilst strapped to the top wing of a Boeing Spearman aircraft. They will do this because they love hens and want to see a day where they live longer, happier lives. By sponsoring our wing walkers with a donation towards the British Hen Welfare Trust (BHWT) you'll be helping this to become a reality.

Every year, the BHWT rehomes upwards of 60,000 hens, the majority of which have lived the first 18 months of their lives in cramped cages. We send these hens off to new homes where they soon begin to enjoy all the pleasures that come with a life outdoors. If we were unable to step in, these hens would be sent to slaughter.

As well as our rehoming work, we educate the public about the products they buy, encouraging them to only choose those containing eggs from higher welfare systems. Were also researching into veterinary care for pet hens, improving pet hen health across the globe.
