Story

A fire broke out at one of our properties, Richard Allen Court in Brighton, on the evening of 3rd October. The tenants of the 12 flats were swiftly evacuated and have been moved to temporary accommodation. We are pleased to report all are safe, some have minor injuries which they were treated for in hospital.

We have been approached by a number of supporters asking how they can help the victims of the fire. Therefore, we have set up this hardship fund to assist the affected residents with replacing their belongings, as well as covering unexpected financial costs of the fire.

BHT Sussex will also be donating its own existing hardship fund of £7,000 to the victims.
