Story
Baptist Health Sciences University along with Liquid Legacy will travel to Pucallpa, Peru, to set up health clinics in and around the city. Pucallpa is a city of over 700,000 people and though there has been a lot of growth and development, it is still an open sewer city. The groups will travel to various outlying villages each day to set up field clinics and serve indigenous Peruvians, who would otherwise not have access to basic health services. They will also host a few clinics in town at a school for handicapped kids and their siblings where they will provide basic medical care for the students, staff, and their families, and one at the Indian Center and Bible Institute where they will serve families who have traveled from their jungle village to the city.
The total cost for this trip per person is $1450 + International Airfare (approximately $2600 total). This will include international airfare, domestic airfare, all ground transportation, lodging and meals at Casa Shea, lodging and transport in Lima.
As you can image, the $2600 cost of this trip poses quite a hardship for some and your support will help reduce the cost needed to participate in this invaluable clinical and spiritual experience.
