Story

The Bangladesh Health Development Initiative (BHDI) has been set up to tackle the short and long term healthcare needs of Bangladesh. We are a UK based charity working with partners on the ground in Bangladesh to deliver the following:

Deliver free medical camps in rural Bangladesh .

Develop a telemedicine app to provide remote access to medical care for rural communities .

Provision international standard nursing diplomas and courses .

Develop preventative medical programmes such as first aid train the trainer courses and standardisation of rural medical practices .

Every year we take a group of British doctors and other professionals to deliver free medical camps to the most needy in Bangladesh and deliver first aid train the trainer courses to young students. This year the group will be leaving on Friday the 24th of January 2020 and returning on the 2nd of Feb 2020. Please support our team to successfully deliver this worthy endeavour.
