Periods don't stop in a pandemic!
We are sleeping outside; in the bus, in the park. We are not allowed to work. We don't have food. It is no good; it gives us too much stress. People don't see what we are going through. To have to cope with your period on top of all this is too much." Stella, asylum-seeking woman from the DRC
Before self-isolation, loads of our fundraising came from amazing angels like you raising money through events like sponsored marathons, period parties, bloody brunches to name but a few. Of course, this can't happen at the moment, but we have even more requests for pads.
Plus, you bleeding heroes sent us pads by the truckfull! We couldn'
t move for pads! (We could, were all about health and safety. But trust us, there were tons!!)Now, our lovely storage facility (shout out Safestore Ally Pally!) cant accept deliveries in order to keep their fab staff safe, so were sending everything via bulk purchasing or ordering online for individuals.
