When my Club opened up for school, I begged my mom to let me go, so that I could get out of the house and be with my friends. She and my dad whispered a lot about whether or not we could afford it; but it turned out the Club was able to give a full scholarship to me and my sister. For months, we would go into the Club in the morning, have breakfast with our friends, and then log-on to school. Eating lunch and playing basketball with my friends during the day made things feel a little more normal. Now, were back in regular school, but still going to the Club afterwards. I know my parents still worry about us, but I feel much better knowing that we have the Club and people who care about us, and I think they do too.
