Story
Accessing support, tailored to individual needs, at as early an age as possible, is so important for children with autism or communication difficulties. Children's learning starts within the family, when they begin to develop their earliest bonds, essential social skills and emotional wellbeing.
Our multidisciplinary team provides support for families at this crucial time in their child's development.
When our son started attending Early Years, he only had a few words. [Makaton] definitely promoted his speech and understanding, as well as his requesting skills. Now he can talk and put up to 4 words together. . ..he is also more imaginative than before and uses much more social language during his play. I've also learned skills to engage with him while playing together.
We absolutely love being part of the Early Years family. You are making a big difference to our life and in fact, we feel much more confident and hopeful than ever before. Thank you so much for supporting all of us!
BeyondAutism Early Years service does not receive any government funding and is totally reliant on voluntary grants and donations. We need your support to keep our service running. A donation of any size will make a difference.
