Our organization was born out of the ashes of the 2011 Bastrop County Complex Fires, and we haven't stopped since. This year BCLTRT celebrated our 10 Year Anniversary. Over the years we've responded and have assisted families recover from ten disasters. Three of those disasters were not FEMA declared and families without insurance or limited coverage needed our assistance even more. Laced throughout those years we have had small but significant fires that resulted in the response of emergency management and first responders as well as evacuations for families. In 2022, BCLTRT has assisted families with evacuations from two wildfires, fed an estimated 150 first responders, assisted families still being affected by COVID-19 and going into 2023 rebuilding for five families that lost their homes in the March Texas Tornadoes in Elgin, Texas. You have the opportunity to give a one-time gift or support BCLTRT throughout the year. Whichever you decide you will be helping our community continue to recover and strengthen our resilience.
