Baby Bank Network Bristol is turning 10 years old this year, and we have come a long way since the organisation was founded in June 2015 around the kitchen tables of three local mums. By July 2024 we had supported over 10,000 families with essentials like cots, prams, clothes, books and toys for their children up to 5 years old.
Having a baby can be daunting at the best of times. Many of the families Baby Bank Network supports are on a low income and facing additional challenges such as domestic abuse, homelessness, seeking refuge or asylum, mental health issues or are mums under 21.
Working with referral partners already supporting the family, Baby Bank Network redistributes pre-loved items for their children. We believe that no family should have to go without the essentials for their babies.
These essential items can help to create a safer home environment for children, reduce the financial burden on families and lead to an improvement in parents' and carers' mental well-being, lower anxiety, and increased ability to focus on other aspects of home life.
We rely on donations of pre-loved goods, and fundraising to continue delivering this free service to families. On Sunday 11th May our brave team will be taking on a 10k or half marathon in the Great Bristol Run. Please help spur them over the finish line by making a donation!

Building on the success of our Great Bristol Run 2025 team, and as part of our 10th anniversary activities, we are aiming to gather a team of at least 10 people to take part on Sunday 11 May.
