How the funding will be spent
Funding has become a challenge over the last few months due to us being a newly registered charity. We have come across hurdles which has stopped us from applying at least until we are 1 years of age. We face the issue of having to reduce our support offered due to the decline in income. We are trying to raise £2000 to bridge the gap of no income whilst we await some confirmed funding. We really need as much support as possible to ensure that we can continue to deliver our service.
How this will benefit the community
If we were not to raise this amount of income, there would be a decline in the services and respite activities we can provide. By providing a valuable donation this will support more than 115 young carers, as we would have the funds to continue to raise our awareness and identify further young people undertaking a caring role. The families of the young carers would benefit from receiving support, advice and guidance on various issues affecting them and their wider family.
