Story
The boys and staff in Bartrum House at Berkhamsted School are undertaking an ambitious fundraising event to raise money for Florence Nightingale Hospice. Between us, we will cover the distance from Berkhamsted to Florence, Italy, and back, which means each boy and member of staff will travel 30 miles on foot or bike in their spare time. We are aiming to complete the return journey by the middle of February and we would like people to sponsor us for doing so.
The hospice was chosen by our charity prefect, Adam, who writes "I have a personal link with this charity because when my Step-Mother was diagnosed with cancer in the summer this year she went to the Florence Nightingale Hospice for the last few weeks alive. I would love to support this charity because of all they did for my Step-Mother and my family. "
Thank you very much for any support you can give the boys. The winter weather makes this more of a challenge but we like a challenge!
