About the Marathon
The Everest Marathon is 26.6 miles long, and is a mixed terrain marathon. Barry will be running along paved paths, as well as suspension bridges, rocky staircases, uneven tracks and sandy scree. Although the devastating earthquake with a magnitude of 8.1 hit Nepal in 2015, there are many areas that are still struggling to recover, thus this is where the donations will help. The funds will go towards Go Dharmic providing education and sports facilities to Nepal schools.
