Story

It's back! The most barked about event of the year for our paw-some supporters and human best friends, kindly sponsored by Edhen Vets and in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Truro Boscawen. Set in one of Cornwall's most stunning locations, dogs, walkers and runners will take on a NEW, bespoke 5k kindly made accessible by The National Trust. The route takes in part of the beautiful gardens, woodland paths which weave around ancient oaks, and private parkland with epic views of the Fal Estuary, finishing outside the stately Trelissick House.

You will also be joining in our fight for better mental health in Cornwall. With one in four people experiencing a mental health problem the need for our vital services is at an all-time high.

Here at Cornwall Mind, we're passionate about the benefits that being a dog owner can bring. It's truly amazing how these furry friends have the power to bring so much joy and positivity into our lives while also supporting our mental wellbeing.

This event will be filled with tail-wagging excitement and unconditional love from our pets. So grab your lead and get ready for an unforgettable morning dedicated solely to our loyal best friends – because at this event, it's all about the dogs!🐾

Why do we need your help?

Although we’re affiliated to Mind, the national charity, Cornwall Mind is an independently registered and funded charity dependent on fundraising and donations to continue our vital work in the community.

We’re only able to help people in Cornwall experiencing a mental health problem because of your support.

The funds raised will play an important role in helping to keep our wellbeing services running. Every penny raised and donated, will stay in Cornwall.

£10 - Will pay for us to answer a call from someone in need of support.

£50 - Will pay for someone to receive one to one support, helping them connect with others and feel less alone.

£100 - Will pay for someone to benefit from a wellbeing course, helping them to build confidence and improve quality of life.

Thank you for supporting Bark Run! Let's celebrate all the wonderful ways dogs help us feel happier and healthier every day!
