Bank of America supports The Trussell Trust. The Trussell Trust is Bank of Americas Charity Partner for 2021 and 2022. This transformational 2-year partnership will support our work to end the need for food banks across the UK.
We support a UK-wide network of more than 1,200 food bank centres and together we provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.
This transformational 2-year partnership with Bank of America will support our work in two ways.
Supporting the Trussell Trust's central Operations team to provide daily support to the food banks including governance, logistics, food supply, training and strategic planning.
Support to provide grants to local food banks to increase provision of financial resilience, income advice and welfare support as a practical solution to help lift people out of poverty.
Support to develop the infrastructure of a newly established Helpline, which helps people in crisis access to emergency food and financial advice to increase their income, even if they can't leave their home.
