We are appealing for help in supporting the flood victims of Sylhet, Bangladesh with food packs and essential items.
In Bangladesh people have been affected by monsoon floods from heavy and persistent rainfall which has forced thousands of people to abandon their homes.
The downpours have caused extensive damage to thousands of houses, water sources, food stores, farmland and roads.
Thanks to generous donations during the first week of the crisis we have already provided relief packages to affected families. This included 625 food packs and 24 boats for essential travelling to families stranded by the floods.
Our Sylhet Aid team intend to be responsive to those in need and help flood victims of Bangladesh with additional food packs and essential items. Once the flood waters have receded we plan to provide ongoing support with Emergency Housing Repair and Medical treatment.
