Story
Keep calm and bake:
Get ready to raise some dough to support the work of Acquired Brain Injury Ireland and help bake the world a better place!
Once again, we are encouraging people to organise a bake event to raise funds that will make a difference to brain injury survivors.
Last year many of these events were stopped before they got started with Covid-19 arriving just as Bake for Brain Injury was due to take place.
That is why this year we are asking all our supporters to take part in their own home bake event. We are encouraging you to take things online and get together with others while staying safe.
The 15th to the 21st of March is Brain Awareness Week. We are asking all our amazing supporters to get involved and celebrate our brain injury survivors. You can do this by holding a virtual bake during this week or anytime in March.
All you have to do is sign up, decide what you will bake, and then raise some dough for Acquired Brain Injury Ireland.
Hosting a virtual bake will mean doing a video call with your friends, family, or colleagues where you can all have a cup of tea and a chat. You, as the host, can bake up a storm and show off what you've made or everyone might bake something too.
You can set up a fundraising page here on JustGiving and ask everyone you know to donate to show their support for your baking efforts and help Acquired Brain Injury Ireland.
