Story
Bring out your inner baker during May, and host a coffee morning, afternoon tea, or bake sale to raise awareness of the impact of pregnancy loss, and help us continue to support people through. You can do this at work, home, or with friends in your local area – even the smallest gathering really can make a difference.
At a loss for recipe inspiration? We’ve got you covered! Some well-known faces, and some of our wonderful media volunteers have contributed their favourite recipes – Emmerdale and Call the Midwife actress Paula Lane, food blogger Neha Gandesha, and our lovely volunteers, Prem, Jess, Elizabeth and Stephanie.
These will be in our Bake A Difference fundraising packs we’ll be sending out after you set up your fundraising page. These packs will help make your event that little bit more special – with bunting, posters, label cards, allergy labels, and charity donation boxes for you to display with your event.
Organising your Bake A Difference event couldn’t be easier! Just choose your event type, date and time, and get baking. (P.S. If you’re holding your event at work, make sure to ask permission first!)
Once you’ve got your event planned, please set up your own fundraising page under our Bake A Difference team page here. Click the orange ‘start fundraising’ button, and you’ll be taken through the process. If you get stuck, just email our friendly fundraising team at fundraising@miscarriageassociation.org.uk.
A huge thank you in advance to all our bakers thinking of getting involved! Whether you’re a beginner having your first go at a Victoria sponge, or a seasoned baking pro – you’re helping us make a difference in the lives of those affected by miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, and molar pregnancy.
We’re looking forward to seeing how you all get on - happy baking!
