By giving today, you can ensure that underprivileged youth across Maryland, Virginia, and DC have the brand-new backpacks, school supplies and school uniforms they need to succeed.

Thanks to amazing supporters like YOU, Operation Backpack made a huge impact last year, raising $34,000 in monetary donations and gathering $60,000 in supply donations to provide 3,000 students backpacks, supplies, school uniforms, healthy meals, transportation assistance, and utility assistance so they can be successful all year-round!

This year for Operation Backpack, we need your help once more if we are to meet the needs of our regions' most vulnerable students.

From July 1 to the end of August, our goal is to raise $50,000 in monetary donations and collect $70,000 in supply donations to support 4,000 students.

* $20 provides a student a healthy meal to power their mind.

* $40 provides a full tank of gas for a student & their family.

* $50 provides a new backpack filled with supplies for a child.

* $100 ensures a child has fresh school uniforms.

* $100 provides a week of groceries for a student & their family.

* $100 provides home heating for a student & their family.

* $150 provides a child a completed backpack AND school uniforms.

* $300 funds summer camp for a child.
