Story
This year our charity has seen an increase in the amount of orphaned kittens and young pregnant queens we are receiving.
Sadly the last few months have been busy with kittens as young as a few days old arriving into our shelters with the most important part of their health and development missing, Mum.
Our orphaned kittens have arrived from everywhere many needing medical help and all needing 24 hour specialist care to get them through the most important few weeks for their future development. This is where our staff and volunteers (and other pets) step in. Our staff and volunteers are working tirelessly to help the many animals currently in our care.
We have also noticed an increase in young pregnant mums, some as young as six months old. Young mums can sometimes struggle with their young and can be in our care for at least 10 weeks. They will spend the first eight weeks with their young before being neutered ready for rehoming.
With the amount of young mums and orphaned kittens arriving regularly our costs have increased dramatically.
Can you help us save even more animals?
