Story
The Aston Villa Foundation are hosting a 24-hour football match on 25th February to raise funds for the Foundation's TeamWork project.
44 players will take part in the event, playing a minimum of 11 hours each over the course of the event. Players will be rotated to ensure all players receive an equal amount of playing time.
TeamWork is a project which aims to bring Villa fans and the wider community together to help improve their mental and physical health.
The programme includes virtual meet-ups, encourage communication, digital campaign activities and sharing resources to offer support and information on current topics and issues which may have a negative impact on our wellbeing during these challenging times.
