The Read-a-thon will span over a two-week period. Beginning from Monday 1st February fitting in nicely with National Story Telling Week. The aim of the campaign is to raise money which will be used to purchase library books for our schools.

Visit the charity's profileResearch from the National Literacy Trust identifies that shockingly 1 in 8 of the nations most disadvantaged children say they dont have a book of their own at home. Which is even more reason to ensure our schools are fully stocked with exhilarating, inspirational and education books to enable every child to experience the benefit of reading for pleasure. All money raised by central team colleagues will be distributed across academies equally.
