Story
How to Participate
May is National Mental Health Awareness Month. During the month of April, donate $10 or more to support South Shore Health's behavioral health and substance use disorder programs and we'll plant a flower pinwheel outside South Shore Hospital in May.
Impact
Your donation will support the urgent work happening within the Grayken Center for Treatment that makes recovery attainable for ALL residents in need. Your generosity will enable South Shore Health to build up our resources and reach more patients when and where they need us most: in the primary care setting, through our perinatal behavioral health program, or even in their homes, via Mobile Integrated Health. The pinwheel garden will be a vivid display of hope to those in our community who have gone too long without the help they deserve.
Go Beyond a Donation! Start Your Own Fundraising Page and Help Our Garden Grow!
Champion the April Showers Bring May Flowers campaign with your own fundraising page! As a fundraising advocate, you will be highlighting the importance of these programs in our community and standing up to the stigma that prevents so many of our neighbors from reaching out for help. All donations of $10 or more that are made to your fundraising page will also have a flower pinwheel planted in the garden. When you sign up, you will have the opportunity to develop a personal page that makes it easy to collect donations, share on social media, thank supporters, and more.
