Story
Last year we had to make the difficult decision to close our beloved cattery as it was no longer meeting welfare requirements needed to re home and rescue our cats. The building is over 30 years old so is in desperate need of some TLC. Its too small for the cats to live in, there are cracks and holes in the infrastructure, rotting wood, and uneven, damaged flooring. From surveys and professional advice sought we now have no alternative but to pull down our cattery and start again. This is going to cost us approximately £400,000 which we need to fund ourselves! We have been given some very large donations from neighboring RSPCA Branches and we are very thankful for their support and kind donations. Its up to us to now raise the remainder of these build costs and turn to our loyal supporters for their help in raising funds in anyway they can.
On average we take in 500-1000 cats a year needing our help. Anything you can donate to help build this vital facility, that is so badly needed, would be greatly appreciated so we can continue to offer safety, warmth and love to the cats that need it. Thank you so much!
Exciting Update
Funding thanks to all the amazing support from you has been secured for phase 1 and so the cattery rebuild is well underway and due to be completed by the end of March.
So the next big task we would love you help for s Phase 2 of the new build. This is be an additional 20 pods so that we can take in and safely rehome more cats desperately needing our help.
Thanks for all your donations and continued support!
