Story
Thrill-seeking participants have volunteered to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower, whilst raising some pennies to support initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of our NHS colleagues.
It is Brighterway's mission to support our colleagues, by supporting their health and wellbeing, they are playing their part in enabling the delivery of high quality care of our patients.
Please support our Team to support Brighterway.
A message from Arielle:-
I work as a team leader for the SW ISPA at Southern Health. Prior to working in the NHS I worked as a domiciliary social carer, and before that a nanny.
I have a husband and two adorable children. My interests are few, but I enjoy baking and going out with my family. I try to go to the gym 2-3 times a week, this can be challenging as by the time the kids are in bed, I'm ready for bed too!
Possible surprising fact is I have Dutch heritage, and have a Dutch passport as a result, but I was born in England and have lived in the UK my whole life; I can't speak Dutch either...
I want to do the abseil as a challenge for myself. It's a "safe risk" and the first "slightly crazy" thing I'm due to do since having kids.
I'm most looking forward to getting it over with and seeing how much money I am able to raise at the end.
