In 2005 we embarked on a journey to build a new centre

In 2010 we demolished the original building and were on the brink of starting construction when we had an offer from the buyers of the adjacent land, John Lewis a major retailer in the UK

They offered us 4x the size of our current land (a straight land swap)  and at the same location where our community members desired to stay

After community consultations and general body meetings it was unanimously agreed to proceed with the new plan

Alhamdulillah, construction of our new centre started in June 2018
